We hope you all had a nice last few weeks. We were busy with some projects and haven’t quite had a moment to catch up and blog here, but we’re finally back with some more photos of the holiday party we did for friends Christine Taylor and Ben Stiller and their family. It would be hard to convey the love we felt for doing this party without…

We are completely smitten with this winter white holiday party created by our reader Kendra Plastow. Kendra created the holiday soiree for family this past weekend. Sweet treats on the dessert table included lemon meringue pies, toffee apple crumbles, champagne bubbles, snowflake cookies, personalized chocolate bars, and a winter white cake. We love the red and white burlap wreaths, pretty customized signage, ilex berry arrangement, and the beautiful fawn and antler sculptures. Great work! Scroll…

We showed you a sneak peek yesterday of this adorable gingerbread party from Erin of Strawberry Mommycakes. We’re back now with the whole party so you may want to grab a hot cocoa and settle in for a toasty post. We love all of Erin’s colorful Gingerbread House Party Printables. All of the paper items from the trees to the gable boxes were custom made by Erin. How cute are those custom gable boxes?! Cute…

We have had an unseasonably warm weather in NYC this past week, but this table has made us ready for snow again. This party was styled by London based event planner Aimee Dunne to celebrate the arrival of Christmas. We love the symmetry of the table. Sweet treats on the dessert table included macarons, cupcakes, chocolates from Selfridges, star shaped cookies and cake pops. So pretty. Scroll down for the vendor credits.

We hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had a wonderful time with our families and we’re already counting down the days until Thanksgiving next year. Even though we started sharing winter inspiration, we’re still not quite over the fall. We think this fall dessert table from Marie at Sweets Indeed is perfect to bookmark for next Thanksgiving. We LOVE how Marie used baking tins as vessels for the desserts. Clever, right? We also…

My boys cake decorating…quality time with my family is one of my resolutions. How about you?
2011 has been a pretty incredible year. The Amy Atlas team was busy with many projects including our Wrigley project {stay tuned for more}, our parties, several Sweet Designs posts a day, and of course THE book.
I say THE book because it really was a beast to produce. One of the things I’m looking most forward to in …

It is our last wish list from the Amy Atlas team and we’re ending it with Naomi’s picks. Her picks definitely reflect her edgy style. The turntable is perfect for Naomi, especially since she moonlights as a DJ! Who would’ve thunk?! Did you feel like you were able to get to know the team a little…

We love this time of year for many reasons. New York City, with all it’s spectacle, takes our breath away. Also, we get to entertain…a lot! So when we were asked by Sierra Mist to come up with recipe ideas, we did not hesitate to say yes. We had a lot of fun creating the drink recipes. Last week, we showed you two fun cocktail/mocktail recipes to whet your appetite. Today, we are back with…

Oh, how we’re loving the sweet wish list from Adina from our team. How great are those Rag & Bone riding boots? Adina loves dogs {she has the cutest one!} so she had to include those great Jonathan Adler dachshund bookends.
We hope you have been keeping up with the Amy Atlas team’s other wish lists. So far we’ve shared Amy’s, Lisa’s, Arisara’s, Eric’s, and Natalie’s. We still have a couple more so keep checking…

We’re putting up some more wish lists from the Amy Atlas team today. This one is from Natalie and reflects her indie chic style. Her real wish for the New Year is the following….”2012 is going to be a year of transitions for me…graduating school, relocating, traveling abroad, and starting new and exciting projects that follow my passions. My wish for 2012 is to soak up every good (and not so good) moment of these…

Today is our last day of posting for the holidays and we are starting it off with this beautiful red and white dessert table styled by Natalie in Sydney. She created this table for a pre-Christmas party for her friends and family. The star of the table was the snowflake meringue Christmas tree that Natalie made. White paper lanterns hung from the ceiling to resemble falling snow. Sweet treats included cake pops, cotton candy topped…

Nothing is better than decorating gingerbread houses on a cold winter day. This party was sent to us by Nicole of Tradewind Tiaras. Instead of a dessert table, Nicole created a candy display for decorating the gingerbread houses. An assortment of decorating candy was displayed in colorful boxes with tags from Frog Prince Paperie. Do you see the cool backdrop? It is made of painted and cut Styrofoam to depict snowy hills. The houses, snowmen…

Thetis’ guests were given a packed picnic lunch which included marinated olives, cheese, bread and vino. Sweet treats included mini pies, vanilla cupcakes, sugar buns, yo-yos and cake pops. We love that Thetis used mostly store bought desserts and dressed them up to give them a homemade feel. The…

This Winter Wonderland submission is from Kate from Kiss Me Kate in Australia. She just moved into a new home and threw a housewarming party. We love the stark contrast of the blue backdrop against the white desserts and vessels. Snowflakes adorned the backdrop and the cupcakes giving the table a wintery feel.
