Guest Dessert Table Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Shelley of How Does She? sent over these beautiful photos of a pink birthday bash for her twin girls first birthday. A few things I adore about this party… (1) I love the color palette of pink, black and white. It is super girlie with a little edge and has a modern flair. (2) Shelley’s paper crepe backdrop is darling and looks like it would be easy and inexpensive to make. You can use the…

Guest Dessert Table Feature

We’re busy bees working away at Amy Atlas Events today. We’re baking and crafting for a photo shoot, jamming out proposals, and editing our first ever vlog (don’t expect much – we’re amateurs on the video front). I’ll show some behind-the-scenes later today, but in the meantime I have a beautiful guest dessert table to share with you from Petite Bouches. Veronica of Petite Bouches emailed us to tell us that she was inspired by…

Flamenco Rose Inspired Guest Dessert Table

Janelle & Samone of Cake Ink in Melbourne sent me pictures of this gorgeous Spanish themed dessert table, which they created for a newly engaged couple. Oh, how the people from down under have taken to our trend and executed it so beautifully time and time again! I have to say that it is really fun seeing different traditional candy/treats from all over the world. For example, the rock candy pictured here looks so different…

Guest Dessert Table Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
Have you all heard of The Caketress? It is a boutique cake company based in Canada and they make some of the most fanciful, fashion couture cakes I’ve ever seen. Lori of The Caketress created an exclusive dessert bar shoot for us with some of her gorgeous cakes and it is stunning. Since the model bride was wearing a Vera Wang lace ruffled wedding dress, Lori brought ruffles into the design {including a ruffled cake…

Hawaiian Luau Guest Dessert Table

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
Lindi of Love the Day recently sent over these beautiful pictures of a farewell Luau she created for her friends who are moving to Hawaii. This setting is so refreshing it makes me want to jump into the screen to be at the party. I love the bright color palette, the use of the net as a backdrop, and the bold patterns. I also love the concept of farewell notes for the departing couple. This could work well for a honeymoon send-off party as well. Check out Lindi's Etsy shop here. Great job, Lindi!

Pea in the Pod Guest Dessert Table + Ask Amy

By: Amy Atlas, in Ask Amy, Kids
How cute is this pea-in-the-pod guest dessert table feature from Whitney of Sweet Celebrations by Whitney? Whitney is a baker based in Las Vegas and was inspired to do a dessert table after seeing our work. This table is perfect for a kid-themed event (showers, birthday parties, brises/christenings). All of the sweet pea details on the table are adorable and I love the fresh green color palette. I also love how Whitney used the paper…

Chicago Inspired Guest Dessert Table Feature

We’ve been getting SO many amazing guest dessert table submissions. Keep them coming and we’ll get them up here. This one comes from Rama of Whimzicalparties in Omaha, Nebraska. Rama created a chic navy and silver Chicago-inspired dessert table for a high school graduate who is moving to Chicago for college. Rama asked for constructive criticism, but I really think she did a great job with this table. Here’s what she did that made it…

I’m loving today’s guest dessert table feature from Glory of Glorious Treats. Glory sent me these pictures early this week and I’ve been dying to share them with you. Wonderful execution, Glory! Glory was also kind to share her strawberry cream cheese frosting recipe here. Speaking of…

Katie Henry of Katie Grace Designs sent over some pictures of a dessert bar she created for a boy’s woodland inspired birthday party. After discovering our dessert bars, Katie has created dessert bars at all of her events. I am totally loving the s’mores kabobs, tree cupcakes, and the trail mix containers. Maybe we can get Katie on here to do a how to for the s’mores kabobs? I also love the use of the…

Guest Dessert Table Feature from South Africa

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
This guest dessert table comes all the way from Durban, South Africa. Zalita of Cupcake D’Lights sent us pictures of a recent dessert table for a young girl’s princess birthday party. Zalita makes cupcakes but was inspired by us to try out a dessert table. The wrapped lollipops are SUPER cute. Dressing up lollipops with tissue paper is an inexpensive and easy way to instantly dress up pops. The Zoe banner is also really sweet.…

Circus Guest Dessert Table Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
All photographs by Logan of Zuma Photo. Culinary Crafts in Utah sent over some pictures of a circus themed dessert table they created for a recent birthday party. It looks like the buzz of our dessert bar trend has hit the beehive state! Culinary Crafts took inspiration from our old fashioned candy bar here. I love how Culinary Crafts made a circus design still look fresh and not too commercial. Some of my favorite details…

County Fair Guest Dessert Table Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Kids
I’m loving this “county fair” take on a dessert table from Anneliese of Aesthetic Nest. Anneliese created this party for her daughter and niece’s 4th birthday party. This party is very sweet for a kids party, but can also be elevated to an adult party as well. My fave details are the bandana quilt tablecloth, the adorable coordinated outfits, and the orange preserve jars made with fabric from here. Check out the diy for the…

Guest Dessert Table Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Kids
Today’s guest dessert table feature is a kid’s dessert table from Lindsey of Bella Grace Designs. Lindsey created an all pink party ala Pinkalicious for her daughter Alyssa’s birthday, which Lindsey said was inspired by us. Lindsey used oversized balloons like we often use for a focal point for her table. The cake is really sweet and simple and the dessert table is the appropriate size for a kid’s birthday party. I also love how…

Guest Dessert Table Feature from Sweden

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
Linda and Christina of Holy Sweet Blogspot in Stockholm, Sweden emailed me with pictures of their first dessert table. Linda and Christina are bakers, but just ventured into the dessert table world after seeing my tables on the blogosphere. Apparently, no one in Sweden is doing sweets tables yet so Sweden may be seeing a new trend soon. I love the color palette and the yummy desserts they chose work naturally with the color palette.…

Remember this dessert table that we created for The Wedding Library back in 2008? Photography by Gemma Comas for Amy Atlas Events. Well Amal Sarah of the Wedding Chateau sent me these pictures of her party all the way from Singapore and the beautiful event decor would have lived perfectly with our dessert bar. Amal also took a stab at a dessert bar and it came out really lovely. I love seeing that our trend…

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
Have you ever seen a dessert bar created for a puppy? Check out this adorable “meet the puppy” dessert bar that Kristy of Posh Pixels Design Studio created for her new puppy Ozzy. I love how Kristy made “for the humans” and “for the dogs” tags for her different guests. The puppies had treats like rawhides, biscuits and softies. I’m sure Ozzy was rolling over with excitement over all of these treats! Come back tomorrow…

I am absolutely loving this guest dessert table created by Sarah of Style Me Gorgeous from Australia. Sarah created the table for her son Max’s baby naming and incorporated a lovely design of dots, elephants, and little birds for the party. I love all of the gorgeous paperie details, the pleated paper lanterns and background, the simple yet stunning design of the cake {with a felt elephant}, and the soft color palette. Thank you Sarah…
