We received this Snow White inspired party from Susana and Clara at Dulce Sobremesa. We first met the Dulce Sobremesa ladies when they sent us this Amy Atlas Moment back in July. This Snow White table was for a little girl’s third birthday. Instead of using the classic red, blue and yellow colors, they used a light coral and aquamarine color palette with sunglow yellow and beige to make it softer. We love the banner…

Stefanie from The Petite Soiree sent us this party that she created for her son’s birthday. Since he’s at the age where he often says “I can’t” and since he loves trains, Stefanie threw him a “Little Engine That Could” party. The chocolate coal, train sugar cookies, train cake pops, railroad gum, and that great train cake paid homage to the book. Suitcases were used to add a little height to the table. I bet…

A “Year of RainBOws” Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We are starting today with a little a party from Jenny at Jenny J Cook Events.  She styled this party for her daughter, Bo’s, first birthday. Inspiration came from a felt rainbow wall hanging that Jenny’s mother made for her nursery when she was a baby. After 31 years, the wall hanging was still very special to her and since her daughter’s name easily could lend itself to a “rainBOw-themed” celebration, she and…
