Vintage Sewing Guest Dessert Feature
This sweet vintage sewing party was created by Jeannie from The Pastry Tip. Jeannie created this party for her sister Susan’s birthday. While at Goodwill, Jeannie found a great vintage sewing machine. She realized it was the same sewing machine that her grandmother used. Cute As A Button Guest Dessert Feature
Today’s cute-as-a-button submission was created by Dawn for her daughter Ruby’s fifth birthday. Sometimes the simplest ideas yield the prettiest results, as you see here with buttons and bows. Dawn chose demure shades of pale pink and baby blue to make dozens of sugar buttons. The buttons cascaded down the side of Ruby’s two-tiered birthday cake and were also used to top cupcakes. We’re ending this week of pretty posts with this dessert table styled by Francisca from Portugal to display her beautiful treats. Francisca brought heirloom items, including china and crochet doilies from her great grandmother’s collection to display her treats.
