We showed you a sneak peek yesterday of this adorable gingerbread party from Erin of Strawberry Mommycakes. We’re back now with the whole party so you may want to grab a hot cocoa and settle in for a toasty post. We love all of Erin’s colorful Gingerbread House Party Printables. All of the paper items from the trees to the gable boxes were custom made by Erin. How cute are those custom gable boxes?! Cute enough to put us in a good mood all day! Each place setting had an undecorated gingerbread house, hand decorated milk jars, a custom colorful placemat (she hole punched those!), royal icing, and mini boxes filled with candy for decoration. Erin made custom wrapping paper which she used to cover the window (brilliant!) and to gift wrap the cake pop box. There was also a gingerbread themed dessert table complete with a gingerbread cake and cream cheese frosting, gingerbread shaped cookie pops, dotted cake pops, cinnamon roll cupcakes, cinnamon sugar cookies, and jars filled with candy. This is colorful and whimsical and we think fabulous for a holiday party! We’re ready to do this even before Thanksgiving! Fabulous. Scroll down for the vendor credits.
Fun Fact: Gingerbread was brought to Europe by Armenian monk Gregory of Nicopolis. However, gingerbread houses didn’t become popular until the publication of Hansel and Gretel.
