The darling Linda of Frog prince cake & cookie design sent us this playful confetti and carnival party that she made for her daughter Kati’s birthday and we think it is so sweet. We first met Linda and Kati here at King of Prussia and it has been lovely to see Kati grow. We love how Linda embellished her unique treats with pretty decor and confetti. Sweet treats on the dessert table included chalkboard cookies, pinwheel cookie sticks {she did similar ones for us here}, white chocolate marshmallow pops, decorated cookie stacks, mini cotton candy cones, fishbowl jello, chocolate covered Oreos embellished with carnival designs like peanuts and top hats, and ice cream. She also made a pretty buttercream cake with a ruffled fondant flower that matched Kati’s custom rosette hairband. An antique cart was set up with popcorn, candy, and pink lemonade served in vintage coca cola glasses. Be sure to look closely at all the photos — there are so many great, crafty details!
The girls played charades, made balloon animals, learned to juggle, and took pictures in a photo booth. So fun! Scroll down for the vendor credits.
Fun Fact: Did you know that the name confetti comes from the Italian confectionery that was thrown during carnivals? In 1875, Enrico Mangili started selling paper confetti for carnivals because it was less expensive to produce than candy.
