Curious George Guest Dessert Feature

We’re bananas over the details of this party by Angie of Whimsy Farm Twine. Since Angie’s daughter Lorelai loves Curious George books, Angie incorporated everyone’s favorite monkey for the theme at her daughter’s birthday party. The brown, yellow, red, and white is not a typical girly palette, but it is perfect for this theme. Have you noticed that brown is finally making a comeback to kid’s parties? Angie brought in some great props for party decor on the dessert table. We love the vintage Curious George tin boxes, baskets of bananas and banana shaped candy, the fabric garland, flowers, and the Curious George stuffed animal perched on top of the giant L. Sweet treats on the dessera ruffled cake, monkey cookies, macarons, chocolate chip marshmallows, jam donuts, cream puffs, and red and yellow ceramic berry baskets filled with candy. Guests left with a Curious George book and a bag of candy. Scroll down for the vendor credits.

Fun Fact: Curious George first appeared in the book Cecily G. and the Nine Monkeys, a book by Hans Rey. The adorable monkey in the book inspired Hans and his wife Margret to develop the Curious George series.
