This pretty party was styled by Keely from The Sugar Studio for a client’s bridal shower. The shower took place in the bride’s childhood home. Inspiration came from the classic beauty of a cameo, a Ladurée Paris inspired color palate, and the film set of Marie Antoinette. Sweet treats on the dessert table included ruffled cakes, piped rose meringues, beautiful cameo cookies and cupcakes, and macarons. Guests drank tea from family heirloom teacups and toasted the bride-to-be with sparkling rosé at a champagne mixing station. Guests were encouraged to bring home treats in pretty purple “Let Them Eat Cake” favor boxes. Great job. Scroll down for the vendor credits.
FUN FACT: Although the phrase “Let Them Eat Cake” is often attributed to Marie Antoinette, there is no record of this phrase ever having been uttered by her.
