This has been the summer of bike riding for the Atlas clan so when this party came in, it made us smile. Larissa from Sweet On Parties styled this party for her cycling enthusiast husband’s 40th birthday. Larissa created a backdrop for the dessert table constructed out of bike parts to form the number 40 {so creative} and then continued the theme by incorporating bike parts in the desserts as well. A blackboard trestle table was created by Larissa and her husband to place the desserts upon, along with concrete cake stands that were inspired by these. Guests celebrated with a gourmet BBQ at Larissa’s home and sweet treats included chocolate Panna cotta, chocolate covered Oreo tires, gluten free salted caramel slices, flourless chocolate cupcakes, vanilla bean biscuits and cupcakes, chocolate cake pops, chocolate drizzle cheesecakes and a triple chocolate cake. Great Job! Scroll down for the vendor credits.

FUN FACT: In 1817, Karl von Drais, invented a horseless carriage called a draisine that would help him get around faster. The draisine led to the creation of the modern day bicycle.
