This Mehndi party was styled by Adria Ruff from Anders Ruff for a champagne party the night before her best friend’s wedding. The groom was from India so Adria paid homage to his heritage with henna hand cookies, elephants and a bright pink and orange palette. She also added a modern twist by adding ikat, mandala, and geometric patterns with fabric, her custom signage, and the artwork on the desserts. Sweet treats on the dessert table included cake pops, cupcakes, chocolate covered Oreos, henna hand cookies, and a fabulous henna stenciled cake. Great job! Scroll down for the vendor credits.
FUN FACT: Mehndi is the application of plant-based henna as a temporary skin decoration. It is a long-standing tradition in India for Hindu weddings and celebrations.
