Are you all ready for a rockabilly party? Gillian of Crumbs of Comfort Cake Design styled this fun themed party for her daughter’s 7th birthday. Gillian brought in cherries and flamingos for the design since those were icons tied to the rockabilly fad. The birthday girl celebrated with a handful of friends in a vintage caravan. All the guests had their hair quaffed by the lovely Pin Up Kat of My little Rockabilly. The girls picnicked on fresh fruit and sandwiches which were packed in gable lunch boxes and sipped on kid-friendly drinks with flamingo straws. Sweet treats on the dessert table included a flamingo cake, vanilla bean cookies, raspberry macarons, spun fairy floss, flamingo lollipops and sour cherry candy. The girls then played games like pin up statues and had a rock n roll dance off. Fantastic! Scroll down for the vendor credits.
FUN FACT: The official birthplace of U.S. Route 66 is Springfield, Missouri. On April 30, 1926 officials first proposed the name of the new highway which went from Chicago-to-Los Angeles.
