There are not enough words to describe how much we love this cake pop display (scroll down below for a tutorial on how to create the tissue paper fire backdrop). This five alarm party was styled by Virginie at That Cute Little Cake for her little boy’s second birthday. Virginie found a design of his favorite cartoon character, Fireman Sam, in a book and knew she had to make that cake for him. She styled a dessert table of a buildings on fire using cardboard, construction paper, and tissue paper. Fireball cake pops, ladder sugar cookies, and fire hydrants with a licorice hose were part of the display. The birthday lunch was served in fire buckets which doubled as a container for them to take home sweet treats. The tiny guests were given favor boxes in the shape of buildings filled with “fire” sweets (red, yellow, orange jelly beans). Brilliant! Scroll down for the vendor credits.
