I bet most of you didn’t know that prior to becoming our “Commander in Sweets”, Lisa ran an entertainment law firm that specialized in music. Every year, Lisa planned the annual SXSW party that her firm hosted and would spend a couple of days in Austin scoping out bands and enjoying BBQ. Whenever she talks about it, her face lights up brighter than a sunny day in Texas. We’re both music lovers..actually everyone on our team is a music lover – it is sort of a unstated job requirement and there is music playing in our studio ALL THE TIME. When we visited Austin, we drove to 6th Street to get a glimpse of the live music capital of the world. Even though it wasn’t SXSW that week, the musical vibe and energy was palpable. This week, we are having SXSW envy for all of you who will be going to the conference. We thought it would be fun to include what we’d pack for SXSW and a list of favorite recommendations for food, drinks and sweets. Have any of you ever been to SXSW? If so, share your memories below and also add to the Austin recommendations!
