I hope you’ve enjoyed our holiday wish lists. Above are some items that I had picked out for my holiday wish list a while back. Truthfully, I debated even putting up this series after last week’s shooting in Newtown. It all seems so trivial. Yes, the items above are all great, but if I’m being perfectly honest, what I really want is happiness,…

Our friend Bird from Bird’s Party asked us to be part of her Pinterest 12 Days of Christmas Party Ideas Giveaway. Our inspiration was Silver and Gold, which is perfect for the holidays. We think Jewel tones are going to be big in 2013 and Gold is a great accent for those rich colors. You can see all of our Silver and Gold inspiration on Pinterest here.

Like many around the world, I am heartbroken about what happened at Sandy Brook Elementary school in Newtown, CT. Originally, I wrote an 800 word post about my feelings as a mom of a 6 year old and eight year old watching this unfold. After reading it several times last night, I realized the names above are all that is needed to write here.
Important: I learned that an old friend of mine had daughters…

We are loving all of the DIY elements in this Little Lamb party that was styled by Vivian from Envy Anvi in Hong Kong for a little boy’s third birthday. A trip to a local gardening store enabled Vivian to get props for the table on the cheap. Gardening props and artificial grass gave the table a rustic feel. White paper poms were transformed into sheep. Using that same design, Vivian also created a pinata…
