We love seeing our readers bring literature into their parties. This party was styled by Shannon from Parties & Potty Training for her two boys. Her older son loves reading the adventures of Skippyjon Jones so she used the book as her inspiration for a Mexican fiesta birthday. Guests built their own fajitas at a fajita bar and played piñata games. Sweet treats on the dessert table included cactus treats, jelly bean cookies, sombrero and Skippyjon cupcakes, and a Skippyjon cake. We loved the colorful hand-drawn backdrop.
