This party is the perfect theme for the month of June for Lisa and me! We were non-stop traveling via plane and automobile last month to try to meet as many of you as possible on our book tour with Williams-Sonoma and we kept on referring to this movie. Camilla and Flavia from Dona Aranha in Brazil styled this party for a little boy’s second birthday party. The brown, orange, green and blue palette is masculine yet youthful at the same time. Sweet treats on the dessert table included cupcakes with candy stoplights and brigadeiros topped with sugar tires. Brigadeiro cream was placed in small tubes with the words “graxa” on it which means grease in Portuguese. The tiny travelers drank “combustível” (fuel) and took home a transportation book. Fantastica!
