Brown Bear Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

The other day, we featured this Very Hungry Caterpillar party inspired by the work of Eric Carle. Today, we’re featuring another party inspired by his Brown Bear book. For anyone with a small child, this featured submission will put a smile on your face. The “Brown Bear” and “Polar Bear” books were staples in my house when my boys were young. They loved the illustrations and the bright colors. Courtney Portner brought the book to life with this table Brown Bear party for her twin’s birthday party. The backdrop was created using felt masks depicting each of the animals in the book, and brown furry fabric covered the dessert table. Rainbow colored cake pops styled in animal labeled pails gave the table a punch of color, while the cupcakes {with amazing toppers} and cookies depicted all of Brown Bear’s friends. Other sweet treats on the dessert table included brownie bites and chocolate lollipops. The kids hunted and collected Brown Bear Band-Aids hidden throughout the yard with their personalized buckets. I see a fantastic party looking at me! Scroll down for the vendor credits.
