I made a mini version of the “Apple of My Eye” table that is in my book.  My boys came home after school and they were able to join in the fun for the apple-filled festivities.  …

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Our second Easter submission was sent to us by Katie from Petite Social. This feature was created for a styled photoshoot for an on-line children’s boutique. Katie loved the Belle & Boo prints they carried in their shop and created the table with that design in mind. She enlisted the help of Nicolle from Libby Lane Press to design the printables for an Easter Egg Hunt who used the prints as her inspiration. Using a…

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
What better way to start the Spring season than with a beautiful Easter submission? This one is from Vesna over at My Little Jedi and is one of the many features in her online magazine here. The concept of having a swing table was pondering in her head for quite some time now and she felt this was the perfect opportunity to execute it. Finding the perfect tree to hang the table was a challenge.…

This Amy Atlas Moment was small on desserts but big on inspiration so we knew we had to share it with you. It was sent to us by one of our readers, Lindsay. Popcorn Party Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
A few years back, we created an amazing sweet and salty popcorn bar for a Bat Mitzvah. There is something about the nostalgic popcorn treat that can transport guests back to childhood, right? It is the reason why we love this “he popped the question” party from Glenda of Dressy Designs. Glenda created this for a wedding, but it could work great for an engagement party, too.  We love the clever language on the signage,…

Great Find: Fish’s Eddy Party Glasses

By: Amy Atlas, in Great Finds
How fun are these new Party Glasses from Fishs Eddy?  The fun and bubbly collection is inspired by paper straws from the 1950’s and is perfect for spring and summer entertaining.  Don’t limit the glasses to just drinks. We’d use these colorful glasses to showcase a small and lovely floral arrangement as well.  What would you use them for?  …

Our theme today is clearly pink submissions from Australia.  This one came to us from Allison of Allison Lawson Cakes. She created this dessert table for a morning tea that she hosted in honor of a friend’s birthday. We love how Allison used an antique tea set left to her by her grandmother. All of the sweets and cakes were baked by Allison, except for the macarons which were purchased from a local patisserie. A…

Fourteen guests were sent to Clown School where they all received matching book bags complete with their own magic tricks and joke cards. They also decorated their own…
