This four alarm post was sent to us by Alison from The English Pea. Alison wanted to make her son’s birthday party educational so the party started with a tour of a local firehouse. The children checked out the firetrucks and tried on firemen uniforms. They then headed back to Alison’s home for the rest of the festivities. Alison used a black and white dot pattern to mimic the dots on a dalmatian, and paired it with a modern chevron pattern. The “stop, drop and roll theme” was creatively established using red cherry sours for the “drops” and tootsie “rolls”. The red, black & white dessert spread also included fireman’s licorice rope, cupcakes, white chocolate covered Oreos, and chocolate covered marshmallow pops. Each child left with a stop, drop and roll muslin favor bag. We bet the birthday boy was fired up at his party! Scroll down to see the vendor credits.
