As a reminder, today is the last day to enter the Matthew Robbins giveaway. We will pick a winner this evening. We thought this submission from Alecia at Boutique Affairs was a great example of how to design an event using heirlooms and favorite objects. Vintage brooches made every day desserts look enchanting. The party was inspired by the beautiful soft lace and detailed head pieces of a clothing store in Australia called The Tea Princess. Doilies, lace and soft colors were used to create a feminine and whimsical vibe. Sweet treats included macarons, cupcakes and candy in colorful hues that mimicked the colors of the cake plates and tea pot. Wildflowers and roses were used to add the final touches and give the table a rustic feel. Simply beautiful. Scroll down below to see the vendor credits.
