This creepy crawly guest dessert feature was sent to us by Monique from Darling Details in Australia.  This was Monique’s first attempt at a dessert table and we think she did a great job. Monique created this party for her son, Charlie’s 6th birthday. Her son is all boy and told his mom he wanted a “creepy crawly” birthday party.  With excitement, off Monique went.  We loved the props that she used (how cute is that frog) and the color palette. Monique enlisted the help of Sarah from Style Me Gorgeous to create the labels, banner, chocolate bar wrappers, tags and signs. Janet, from The Cupcake Lady, was able to replicate the birthday invitation design onto the cake, cookies and cupcakes. The earthy tones really compliment the theme and give the table a swampy vibe.  Sweet treats included chocolate mousse, macarons, cakepops and cupcakes. As the children departed, they were given crocodile eggs that were placed inside a glass jar with rocks to resemble a crocodile nest.  It was a big hit.
