Halloween Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
Suzanna of Mon Tresor sent in this haunted treats table that was inspired by my turquoise and orange collection for Cocodot.  Suzanna used a turquoise and orange palette and mixed it with black and white to make it a little more spooky.  Suzanna elevated a traditional Halloween table to chic by using a beautiful black and white backdrop.  I’m loving the witch’s brew, the pretty coconut cake, the lace around the beverages, and the spider…

Crazy Over Candy Corn!

By: Amy Atlas, in Kids, Recipes
We are knee-deep in Halloween projects {I’ll show you a peek this week}, and there is candy corn all over the AAE office!  Like many, candy corn evokes so many childhood memories for me.  I remember my Grandma used to have small bowls of candy corn around her house on Halloween and I would grab as many as I could before anyone would catch me.  Every time I eat a candy corn, that sugary taste…

Dessert Table on a Truck – Guest Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
There is the Treats Truck and then there is the dessert table truck!  Heather of the WhipperBerry Blog in Las Vegas sent in this shoot that they created with a vintage red truck.  I have to say, I’m personally not a fan of all of the outdoor shoots that I see all the time, mainly because I find them impractical for people that are really planning parties. However, the styling on this innovative truck-treats table

Dreamy Floral Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
I’m in absolute love with this dreamy guest dessert feature from Bec and Tammy of Ruby Ju from Australia.  I love how they framed the  sweets spread with the beautiful draped linen.  It sets the table apart from the rest of a party and gives the table it’s own significant role.  And how gorgeous is that buttercream cake?  I’m currently on a cleanse and that picture is enough for me to break it!  I also…

Spiderman Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We’re up to our second guest dessert feature of the day.  This one is from Cecilia and Jeannette of The Treat Table in Florida {we’ll get a link up to their site soon}.  It is not easy to incorporate commercial characters into a polished sweets spread, but I think these ladies did a fantastic job.  There are a lot of great components to this table.  The spiderman cake is really fabulous and these ladies made…
