I’m very excited about today’s exclusive guest dessert table feature from Scissors Paper Cake of Sydney, Australia. Have you all heard of Scissors Paper Cake? If not, bookmark their site now! They sent over pictures of their latest party- a safari party for a 4yr old boy, Jett, who loves reptiles and animals. The kids ate lion, elephant and giraffe cupcakes and cookies, coconut ice {an Australian fave!}, and macarons. The birthday lunch was served on a log table while a reptile man showed the kids snakes, lizards and turtles. Oh, to be 4 again!

This company formed after Naomi of Hello Naomi Cakes, Cupcakes & Cookies met Nathalie of Imprintables through the blogosphere. They recently formed Scissors Paper Cake after our dessert table trend hit down under, and they are creating some of the most playful dessert tables I’ve ever seen. These ladies are women after my own heart…and I don’t say this of many. Their level of detail is meticulous and they have a great eye for fresh color palettes. Naomi’s desserts have been on my radar for quite some time, but she keeps blowing me away with her adorable cakes, cupcakes, and cookies! My time is pretty finite, but I inevitably get sucked into hours of inspiration on Naomi’s flickr page from time to time. I can honestly say that their work deserves best guest dessert table feature of the year!
