We were stoked to see this superhero party from our reader Amra Valentincic of Australia. Amra created this fabulous party for her twin boys 7th birthday party. Amra combined five superheroes, two which were comic style superheroes and three which were modern age superheroes such as The Dark Knight and The Man of Steel. Amra displayed cupcakes and cookies in separate superhero categories. We love the backdrop, the signage, and that SUPER cake! Scroll down…

As guests arrived, they received their superhero bag with a personalized cape and mask. Sweet treats on the dessert table included…

We receive a lot of superhero party submissions each month, but this one by Tania from Totful Memories for her son’s 4th birthday party really caught our eye. We love the graphic black and white backdrop. Her son loves superheroes right now so Tania made sure that all superheroes were part of the design. Sweet treats on the dessert table included amazing batman cake pops, Kryptonite jello, a very cool macaron cake inspired by this…

Mardi Gras meets Superhero for this party styled by Emily at Magnolia Creative Company for her daughter’s birthday. Emily’s home is on the Mardi Gras route and she always has her daughter’s party before the Krewe of Gemini parade so guests can watch the parade. Guests arrived in costume with their wagons/floats. We love the custom made metropolitan skyline boxes filled with candy. Emily also made vehicle candy box favors which were “driving” on Candy…

Superhero Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Art meets Sweets in this superhero party that was styled by Nikki from Nikki Ikkin for her son’s 3rd birthday. The backdrop and decoration were inspired by a Roy Lichtenstein Newsweek cover from 1966 and we think that Nikki captured the essence of that cover perfectly. Sweet treats on the dessert table included the homemade fabulous cake, cookies and cupcakes. Coffee bottles were repurposed and contained an “Invisibility Potion.” Nikki’s 10 year old daughter created…

This Amy Atlas Moment came to us from Madrid, Spain. Juliana from Special Parties designed this party for her son’s third birthday. To give her table varying heights, Juliana wrapped boxes in comic book paper and put her sweets on top of it. Sweet treats on the dessert table included caramel corn, marshmallow pops,…

Chevron Superhero Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Brianna at Krute styled this SUPER design savvy party for the superhero in her life, her son. Because her son’s birthday is in July, Brianna used a bright, colorful and cheery palette. She brought in a chevron pattern since the jagged points reminded her of fight bubbles used in the 1960′s Batman series. Cardboard suitcases from Shop Sweet Lulu gave the cake stand a POW moment and Starbucks Frappuccino bottles were repurposed for the strawberry…

Super Dad Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
Just in time for Father’s Day, we are featuring this Super Dad party from Jen of Sweeten Your Day Events. Jen used printables from Piggy Bank Parties for the main backdrop on the dessert table and cake design. She created the cityscape background by spray painting cardboard. Kryptonite is the one thing that weakens Superman and we LOVE how Jen used rock candy to create kryptonite which had tags saying, “shopping”, “dishes”, “laundry” and “vacuuming”.  …

Superhero Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We all know someone who we consider a superhero.  My father was my superhero.  He was my biggest champion and always made me believe that I could leap above tall buildings. When this kid-friendly superhero party popped in our inbox from Supermom Sarah Crawford from Lil Hoot Parties, it made me smile.  Sarah created this table for her nephew Mac’s second birthday.  Sarah cleverly played up Mac’s name with a Superhero Mac theme.  The super

How cute is this Superhero party that Pauline {of The Party Studio and Sophisticated Yum} whipped up for her son Ben’s birthday bash?  Pauline created a cityscape backdrop for her big focal point on the table.  I love the sugar superhero on the top of the cake, the stenciled superhero desserts, the use of comic strips and speech bubbles for vessel liners, the power cookies, and the adorable superhero goody bags.  Great job, Pauline!…

Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Naomi from Hello Naomi in Australia sent over exclusive pictures of her most recent work. If you missed it a few weeks ago, I featured Naomi’s gorgeous cakes and cookies a few weeks ago here. This time, Naomi created a chic super hero party for a little boy. Yes, that is an oxymoron but if there ever were a chic superhero party, this is it!  Executing a superhero party without it looking too commercial is…
