Rustic Silhouette Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
This nautical guest dessert table came to us Monika from Stylish Party Bazaar in the UK. She created this table for a wedding show. Instead of the typical navy, red and white color palette, Monika chose a black and ivory palette and paired it with a silhouette design. We love the rope embellished crates and the gable boxes. Sweet treats included cupcakes, a silhouette cake and cake pops. Beautiful. To see some more nautical inspiration,…

Pretty in Purple Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
This pretty purple pom themed party came to us from Sophie of Sophie Bifield Cake Company. The intention of the shoot was to showcase her new line of desserts. We love the monochromatic shades of purple, as well as the elegant silver vessels and mirrored table. Sweet treats included lemon coconut cake truffles, white chocolate filled meringue puffs, vanilla bean marshmallows, cotton candy and raspberry infused lemon/vanilla cupcakes. A white two-tiered cake with fondant poms…

Elegant High Tea Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
This sweet tea party came to us from one of our Aussie readers, Julie.  She created this party for her daughter’s 1st birthday. Birdcages and pearls were the main elements of decor. We think the birdcage cake created by Cakeland is fabulous.  Other sweet treats included birdcage cookies, cupcakes, chocolate truffle cake pops, macarons, and mini flourless orange cakes. Mini tea sandwiches, scones and crepes were also served to guests. Great job, Julie! To see…

Spa Day Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We are always up for a mani/pedi at the Amy Atlas office. We thought this “Mani & Pedi Spa party” was so cute and had to share it with you. After all, everyone needs to be pampered, right? This featured submission was sent to us by Nicole at One Magic Day. Using her first printable party collection, she styled this party for a little girl’s 8th birthday party. Nicole chose a palette reminiscent of the…

Behind the Scenes at Amy Atlas: Snack and See

By: Amy Atlas, in Amy's Latest, Behind The Scenes
We had the pleasure of putting together a lovely Snack ‘n See for a client recently and thought we’d show you a little peek.  It was for the family to introduce their little baby boy to friends and family.  We put together a food and dessert display with lots of great appetizers from My Most Favorite like mini grilled cheese sandwiches, ahi tuna sliders, and mac n’ cheese cups.  Our design included seersucker/argyle signage, including…

Tiffany Inspired Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
We love the classic Tiffany blue.  There is something about getting a gift in that little blue box that can make any girl smile. My husband bought me a gold heart necklace before we were married and it never seems to go out of style. This Tiffany inspired table was created by Amy from With Style and Grace in Australia.  She created this table for a wedding expo for one of her brides. The rich…

Lace and Embroidery Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
My heart melted when I saw this submission that was sent to us by Truc Luu of the San Francisco Blog Treats.  Truc created this sweets spread for her Goddaughter’s Christening in Norway. The inspiration came from the beautiful lace/embroidered gown that the baby wore at the christening.  Although the details were subtle, the lace/embroidered theme is on the border of the tulip planters, the cake, and the lace dress cookies.  The elegant and romantic…

School Inspired Baby Shower

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
Whitney Smith of Whitney Smith Photography and her friend Britney sent me some pictures of an amazing baby shower they created for their school teacher friend Emily (aka Mrs. Moulton). Whitney and Britney really did their homework when they planned this school-inspired party. The shower included lots of cute details including a chalkboard menu, lunch-sack sandwiches, cafeteria lunch trays, a composition guest book, milk and cookies, and pb&j bars. Whitney and Britney even arranged for…
