Easter Spring Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We are sending you off this weekend with this pretty spring-inspired dessert table that was styled by Andressa from Twinkle Twinkle Little Party. This would be perfect for Easter. We love the Easter egg cookies, pastel cake, and bunny shaped macarons. Other sweet treats on the dessert table included organic chocolate covered cookies, bonbons, brigadiers, and carrot cupcakes. Guests left with muslin bags filled with colorful egg candies as well as treat-filled baskets. What are…

Wizard of Oz Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We love this take on a Wizard of Oz dessert table from Kathryn at All Things Cake and Small in Australia. Kathryn’s daughter has watched the Wizard of Oz several times so it was a fitting theme for her birthday. Apothecary jars filled with fruit set the tone for the rainbow color palette that Kathryn chose. Other sweet treats on the dessert table included emerald green jelly pots, Glenda and the wicked witch cake pop…

Other sweet treats on the dessert table included raindrop cake pops, rainbow…

Muppets Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

I was a big Muppets fan growing up and to seeing them again brought back a lot of memories. My favorite character was always Miss Piggy. This Muppets dessert table from Dina at Deliciously Darling Events is an edible interpretation of the feisty muppet gang. Dina created this dessert and candy…

The table was sent to us by one of our readers, Mary. For her daughter Zara’s 4th birthday, Mary chose a woodland animals theme. Homemade treats included hedgehog cupcakes {fantastic!}, meringue pollen drops, chocolate dipped strawberry ladybugs, Bambi bites cookies, woodland berry jelly cups, butterfly fairy bread and fruity wands. To wash it all down, Dew Drops and Cranberry Tikle Tea in Chinotto bottles {collected over weeks!} were also offered. Giving this party an extra…

Colors of the Rainbow Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
This sweet little party was sent to us by Virginie at That Cute Little Cake. Virginie fell in love with the idea of the rainbow cake. She decided on a rainbow theme for her daughter’s second birthday so she could make her that cake.  She went with a softer palette switching out the red for pink. With the exception of the rainbow cupcake topper which was a free printable from Tom Kat Studio, Virginie designed…

UP Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We have had so many amazing submissions hit our inbox lately, but this rainbow party brightened up our day! Jacki at Blissfully Sweet Cakes created this party for her son Ben’s birthday. Ben loves balloons. Always has. When he saw the Disney movie UP, he was hooked. Ben’s party was going to be a small family affair so Jacki decided to make a faux house cake (how amazing is that)?  Look at the edible rainbow…
