Susana of Citrus and Orange in Portugal sent over these gorgeous photos of her first dessert bar. I’m so glad that our trend has made its way to Portugal! Susana created this eye candy for her daughter Carlota’s birthday. Susana told us she was inspired by our work for her first stab at a dessert bar. I love that beautiful cake with button details {made by Francisca of Cupcake} in Portugal, the green milkglass…

I’m back with my 3rd guest feature of the day! This one comes from Kasey Buick, who created a beautiful Alice in Wonderful dessert spread for her daughter’s 8th birthday. I get A LOT of Alice in Wonderland submissions, but this one stood out from the rest. I love the layered vintage lace linens, the gorgeous chandelier and props, and the “eat me” printed bags. The paper flower and butterfly garland, birdcage backdrop, and…

Shelley of How Does She? sent over these beautiful photos of a pink birthday bash for her twin girls first birthday. A few things I adore about this party…

Have you all heard of The Caketress? It is a boutique cake company based in Canada and they make some of the most fanciful, fashion couture cakes I’ve ever seen. Lori of The Caketress created an exclusive dessert bar shoot for us with some of her gorgeous cakes and it is stunning.
Since the model bride was wearing a Vera Wang lace ruffled wedding dress, Lori brought ruffles into the design {including a ruffled…

Lindi of Love the Day recently sent over these beautiful pictures of a farewell Luau she created for her friends who are moving to Hawaii. This setting is so refreshing it makes me want to jump into the screen to be at the party. I love the bright color palette, the use of the net as a backdrop, and the bold patterns. I also love the concept of farewell notes for the departing couple. This could work well for a honeymoon send-off party as well. Check out Lindi's Etsy shop here. Great job, Lindi!

How cute is this pea-in-the-pod guest dessert table feature from Whitney of Sweet Celebrations by Whitney? Whitney is a baker based in Las Vegas and was inspired to do a dessert table after seeing our work. This table is perfect for a kid-themed event (showers, birthday parties, brises/christenings). All of the sweet pea details on the table are adorable and I love the fresh green color palette. I also love how Whitney used the…
