Supergirl Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Mardi Gras meets Superhero for this party styled by Emily at Magnolia Creative Company for her daughter’s birthday. Emily’s home is on the Mardi Gras route and she always has her daughter’s party before the Krewe of Gemini parade so guests can watch the parade. Guests arrived in costume with their wagons/floats. We love the custom made metropolitan skyline boxes filled with candy. Emily also made vehicle candy box favors which were “driving” on Candy…

We figured you guys could use a little inspiration today. We LOVE this pantone party that was sent to us by Vesna from My Little Jedi in Australia. Last year, we featured her son’s Willy Wonka inspired 2nd birthday and we are back today with a rainbow of colors for his third. Vesna kept the backdrop neutral so that the colors would pop. The tassel garland and paper lanterns by Bianca from Blush Loves Mint…

Under The Blue Sea Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We always talk about finding inspiration from difference places. Natasha from Nevie-Pie Cake styled this party for her daughter’s 6th birthday and found her inspiration from a panel of Ralph Lauren fabric. She incorporated the blue and white color scheme and line drawing to the cake elements. How fun are those sugar “oyster” cookies? Other sweet treats on the dessert table included vanilla cotton candy, cupcakes with line drawing fondant toppers, meringue, gingerbread dipped pearl…
