Pretty Peter Pan Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We’ve had a lot of gold bling on the blog this week {here and here} so we’re ending the week with a golden glam party that will transport you to Neverland. This beautiful Peter Pan party was styled by Carla from Palm Beach Parties for her daughter’s birthday. We LOVE Carla’s feminine interpretation of the Peter Pan story. How sweet is the golden dot backdrop and table runner? Carla also made a ruffled tablecloth out…

Bright and Cheery Easter Guest Featured Submission

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
This bright and cheery party styled by Kenna from Miss Party Mom Event Planning was inspired by “The Golden Egg Book” by Margaret Wise. We love the jewel toned palette. For the front of the table, Kenna created a banner with pages from the book. Paper doilies were used to create the scalloped edge on the awning. Sweet treats on the dessert table included garden carrot push pops (brownies with sugar filled carrots), tulip cake…

We love seeing our readers bring literature into their parties. This party was styled by Shannon from Parties & Potty Training for her two boys. Her older son loves reading the adventures of Skippyjon Jones so she used the book as her inspiration for a Mexican fiesta birthday. Guests built their own fajitas at a fajita bar and played piñata games. Sweet treats on the dessert table included cactus treats, jelly bean cookies, sombrero and…

For those not familiar, it is about a caterpillar who eats its way through food in all different shapes and colors until it eventually emerges into a brightly colored butterfly. We love how Helen from Kiss My Cakes brought the story to life with this dessert table for…
