Birthday Guest Dessert Feature

We hope you all had a great weekend. We are starting the week off with a beautiful dessert table by Melissa from The Sweet Society in Australia for a 40th birthday party. There are so many details we love, including the cake and the gorgeous succulents. Construction Zone Guest Dessert Feature

This afternoon, we showed you this fun construction party. Now we’re back with another construction party from Rachel of Fondant Flinger. Rachel created a savory table and a dessert table for her son’s 4th birthday party. Sweet treats included peanut butter buckeyes, “rock” cake balls, traffic ice cream cones, marshmallow pops, and cupcakes. A seven foot wooden crane that was built by Rachel’s husband held a “wrecking ball” which was the highlight of the party.…

Feeling Groovy Guest Dessert Feature

Deanna from Mirabelle Creations created this groovy 70′s inspired disco party for her daughter’s 9th birthday. She wanted to give the table a modern and sophisticated twist so she used  the very popular chevron pattern in an aqua, lime green, and slate color palette. Great Find: Chevron Stationery from Delphine

We’ve always loved the classic Missoni chevron pattern and with the craze over Missoni for Target line, we’re seeing that zig zag pattern everywhere!  We did our own version of the Missoni pattern in our book, which you’ll see in the spring.  In the meantime, how gorgeous is this great find?  We’re loving Delphine’s new chevron collection.

Chevron Inspired Guest Dessert Feature

We received this little gem from Daisy Kelvin who created this table for her husband’s 40th birthday. Daisy’s design inspiration was the classic Chevron pattern from the iconic Missoni textiles. We love the clean, graphic elegance of this classic zig zag, especially in Daisy’s orange and navy color palette.
