By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
We’re very busy getting ready for hosting many people for Thanksgiving and Hanukkah. How are you all coming along with holiday prep? This party was by Blooming Table for a birthday party, but the blue and white packaging and desserts can give you some inspiration for the eight days of Hanukkah, right? Since Thanksgivukkah will not happen for more than 77,000 years, below are our favorite Thanksgivukkah links from around the web. Enjoy the holidays…

Wintry Wonderland Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
This wintery wonderland was sent to us by Maureen from Anders Ruff to celebrate their new Winter Wonderland Party Collection with fresh tones of aqua, mint, light blue with pops of red.  The inspiration for the table came to them while imagining a beautiful wintry day, watching the snow fall and get piled up on the window sill. We love all of the signage and the hand sewn birds. Sweet treats on the dessert table…

Sparkler Guest Dessert Table

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
There are so many elements on this table from Elianne at Elivents in the Netherlands that we love. The unconventional salmon and navy color palette and quatrefoil pattern gives it a fresh look for the holidays. Hanging stars made it feel very festive, too. You can also change the shapes of the stars if you want to create a similar look for Hanukkah. Sweet treats on the dessert table included star and present shaped cakepops,…

Sweet Origins: Sufganiyot for Hanukkah

By: Amy Atlas, in Great Finds, Sweet Origins
The first night of Hanukkah is already this Saturday. My boys are already asking about when they’ll get to taste their Sufganiyot. On Hanukkah, it is a tradition to eat these jelly filled, deep fried doughnuts. It is just one of the fried foods {there are also latkes} that reminds us of the miracle that occurred during the Maccabean Revolt, when oil that was lighting the sacred lamp during the rededication of the holy temple…

Happy Hanukkah: Festival of Lights Guest Dessert Feature

Tonight is the first night of Hannukah and I’m getting ready to celebrate with my family while we’re away. We so rarely get Hanukkah submissions so this made me quite happy.  This one is from Nicolle of Libby Lane Press. She created a Hannukah play date for her daughter and a few of her daughter’s friends. We love the cupcake menorah using cupcakes, mini-twix as the candles and yellow M&M’s as the flame. This idea…

This lovely holiday winter wonderland was sent to us by Leoni from Just Call Me Martha in Australia. She collaborated with Louisa & Melissa from Little Big Company as well as Lillian from LIlly Chic Events and styled a luncheon for a little boy named Hugo who was celebrating his first Christmas. The Christmas lunch was inspired by Delftware from the Netherlands, the birthplace of Hugo’s mom. The luncheon was very intimate and personal and…

Merry Monday: Turquoise and Metallic Table

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
This time of year makes us happy on many levels. New York City is beautiful with all of the holiday decorations and we always spend so much time with our families. We also love this time of year because we get such beautiful holiday submissions. This turquoise and metallic stunner came from the ladies over at Mon Tresor in Australia. Suzanne styled this table for a pre-Christmas get together for her family before the Christmas…
