Shark Party Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Watch out…we are headed into shark infested waters today! This part was styled by Rachel from PARTePRINTS for her son’s first birthday. Inspired by her son’s love of the ocean and everything in it, Rachel created a party that was fun and graphic. We love the paper plate backdrop that Rachel created using square plates from Party City and Command Strips! What a creative way to bring color to your wall. Guests were greeted with…

Gingham And Bunting Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Nicky from Sweet Details styled this sweet party for her son’s 2nd birthday. We love the composition of all the props on the table. Isn’t that oversized wagon holding the candy fab?  Sweet treats on the dessert table included sugar cookies made by Cookie Beans, as well as candy apples, cupcakes and cake pops made by Nicky. Great job!…

Linen & Lace Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
We received this beautiful Linen & Lace dessert table from Alexandra at Avie & Lulu. There are so many pretty and feminine features in this table.  We love the heart shaped cookies and the baskets that are reminiscent of bird nests. The mood and tone of the party was inspired by the beautiful invites Alexandra found from Little Paper Pantry.  The highlight of the day was a giveaway teapot gift in the “Guess How Many…

Goldfish Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Karolina from Karos Fun Land styled this fun goldfish party for her son Daniel’s 2nd birthday. She started with the cute goldfish printables she found from Bee and Daisy and coordinated all the decor around them. Karolina did all of the fondant work herself on the cake and sweet treats which included goldfish sugar cookies, oreo pops, cupcakes and rice krispie treats. The color palette is perfect for the theme. We love the way she…

Pool Party Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Before we bid adieu to summer, we just had to post this party from photographer Kelly Anderson. Inspired by Loralee Lewis’ Sweetie Swim Cap paper collection, Kelly threw an outrageously fun pool party for her pre-school aged daughters and their families. Seriously, is there a better way to beat the summer heat than in the pool? With genius details like the basket of water balloons, squirt guns and a bubble dispenser for refilling bubble-blowers, this…

Little Red Riding Hood Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We are loving this Little Red Riding Hood themed 5th birthday party that was sent to us by Courtney Portner {she doesn’t have a site yet, but stay tuned}.  We featured this Goldilocks feature a few months ago and it seems like classic nursery tale themed parties are becoming a trend.  Courtney did everything from styling the table to taking the photographs.  We love the hanging homemade topiaries, printables, and big bad wolf/little red riding…

Beautiful Rustic Pink Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
Today’s featured submission was sent to us by Linda of Call Me Cupcake from Sweden.  I think you all know by now that we get a lot of the “dessert table in a field idea submissions” and I’m not the biggest fan usually.  However, when I see something that is beautifully styled, I have to feature it. Not only did Linda bake all the pretty desserts, but she also styled and photographed the shoot…

Bunting Inspired Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Bunting garlands have been pretty popular for parties over the last few years.  This pink, silver and pearl pretty guest dessert feature by Chelsea {of Eye Candy and the Eye Candy Blog} in Melbourne has a design completely inspired by bunting garlands.  The party was a Sip ‘N See to celebrate the arrival of Chelsea’s second daughter, and Chelsea was inspired by the children’s nursery rhyme “Bye, Baby Bunting.”  Chelsea worked with Sarah of Style…
