Travel Inspired Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Since I’ve been traveling for the last couple of weeks, I thought it would be fun to feature this travel-themed birthday party by Shannon from Bottle Pop Party Co. Shannon’s client has been living in Germany for the past 9 months so she put a Bavarian twist on the travel theme. Maps were used to wrap boxes, books and line vessels. The guests started with a lunch of authentic German food and ended with a…

Ninjago Guest Dessert Feature

This Ninjago party was styled by Renata from Lovely Cakes for her son’s birthday. How insane is that cake that sculpted ninja cake that Renata made?! As guests arrived, they received personalized ninja head bands and a foam sword. Sweet treats on the dessert table included candy sushi, pretzel and marshmallow skeletons (Ninjago enemies), fudge truffles and lollipops. The little ninjas all received a Lego felt bag with Lego candy, a book light and a…

Little Rock Star Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We have SXSW in Austin on our minds..more about that later.  We love this 80’s rockstar party styled by Helen from Kiss My Cakes in Australia for her son’s birthday party. His only request was for microphone cake pops and we are so happy he made that request. How great are those?  Such a fun idea. The birthday cake was an amazing set of drums. Other “intermission munchies” on the dessert table included vanilla cupcakes,…

We have seen many installations of Eric Carle’s Very Hungry Caterpillar hit our inbox and and we have featured a couple, but we don’t seem to ever tire of them. This party was styled by Effi and Anna from Le Petit Party in Australia for a birthday party. Most private schools end on Friday in the NYC and public schools end in a couple of weeks. What does that mean?  Summer is really beginning in our households! Cris from Crissy’s Crafts sent us this party that she created for her Annual End of the School Year pool party. Cris was inspired by the the Pool Party Collection from Mimi’s Doll house.  We ADORE the creative treats on the dessert table including Twizzler pool…

Goldfish Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
When my boys were toddlers, they loooved Goldfish. When I saw this party pop up in our inbox, it brought back great memories. Mags of Oh So Chic Celebrations styled a table inspired by the crispy treat for a baby show. Mags used orange to represent goldfish and blue to represent water. We love the simplistic and clean signage and that cake pop cake! Other sweet treats on the dessert table included Goldfish cake pops…
