“Rat Pack” Inspired Guest Dessert Feature

Jennifer at Honeycomb Events sent us this “gentleman’s” party that she styled with her brother for Jennifer’s son’s birthday. Channeling the Rat Pack in the 60′s, they created a masculine vibe for her lil guy’s first celebration. Jennifer incorporated Houndstooth and plaid patterns for the cupcake wrappers, bow tie cookies, and printables. She also created a tufted leather backdrop to hide a large television. 5…4...3...2…1..Blast Off!  This party is every future astronaut’s dream. Debbie from Studio Cake in Australia created this party for her son’s 5th birthday. Her son is crazy about space and rockets so Debbie put together a space themed party. Today is all about Valentine’s Day. Sarah from Ribbon Whirls for Boys & Girls in Australia created this for her family. This dessert table was inspired by the Pete Townsend song, “Let My Love Open The Door”.  Since we love music here, we fell for this idea. Australia Day Guest Feature

As we mentioned, Australia Day was celebrated last Thursday down under. This very Aussie dessert table was sent to us by Hanna of Pretty and Print. Every year, Hanna has an Australian Day BBQ. Construction Zone Guest Dessert Feature

Who knew that you can do birthday parties at the Home Depot? What a great idea for kids. This party was sent to us by Maysem from Ode to Inspiration. Turkey sandwiches, bags of sliced apples, and organic fruit snacks were packaged in tin lunch boxes. Sweet treats included “mud cupcakes” presented in a dump truck, sugar cookies and  clementines. Bug Bash Guest Dessert Feature

Spaceships and Laser Beams sent us this creepy, crawly insect table they created to display their new Bug Bash DIY Printable Collection for boys. They were trying to go for an insect collector vibe and succeeded by using lots of cork and cupcakes reminiscent of flower pots filled with dirt. Sweet 70′s Inspired Guest Dessert Feature

This colorful retro candy buffet was sent to us from Clionadh from The Sweet Treat Co. in Ireland. She was asked to create a 70′s style table for a photo shoot and used bright colors to set the tone. Elegant High Tea Guest Dessert Feature

This sweet tea party came to us from one of our Aussie readers, Julie.  She created this party for her daughter’s 1st birthday. Birdcages and pearls were the main elements of decor.
