This hot air ballon table themed dessert table was sent to us by Nicole from Sooti and Sweet in Australia. She styled this table as a display at a children’s fair. Using the printables from Anders Ruff as her inspiration, a soft blue and green color palette was used with touches of yellow and pink. Sweet treats on the dessert table included meringue, nutella and salted caramel macarons, vanilla dream cupcakes and gorgeous cloud and hot…

This “Calling All Superheroes: Help Save the Milk Bar!” guest feature was sent to us by Natalie from Tiny Tots Toy Hire. We love the retro comic book vibe of the party. The superheroes of this party were a four year old boy and two year old girl. This UP party was sent to us by Shayna from Envy Events, who created this party for her daughter’s second birthday. We fell in love with the painted house that Shayna’s husband created. Balloons were added to the top to give the kids the feeling that the house would go UP as it did in the movie. Sweet treats included homemade cupcakes topped with Up cupcake toppers purchased on Etsy, sugar cookies, chocolate covered…

Spring is in the air and this Spring inspired guest dessert feature was sent to us by Jenny at Bloom Designs Online. She was having some neighborhood friends over and thought a lemonade stand full of sweet treats would be the perfect way to welcome both her friends and the warm weather. Jenny’s vanilla cake was inspired by the Necco Wafer runner in the Pastel Pretty chapter of Sweet Designs. We love seeing ideas from…

We love this nautical party and dessert table that Rachel of Sol and Rachel created for her son. Rachel created a menu that consisted of sailboat shaped sandwiches, blue jello cups with apple slice sailboats {we love!}, chocolate dipped pretzel oars, goldfish crackers, and little plastic boats filled with fruit. Guests spent time playing in the SS Finley, which Rachel’s husband crafted from a huge cardboad box. The printables by RV Parties tied the whole party together.…

The Kentucky Derby is this weekend and the horse cookies below would be great for a Kentucky Derby party. This party is actually a wild west party sent to us by Louisa from Little Big Company in Australia. She collaborated with Just Call Me Martha, Petit Atelier and Ham and Pea Design & Paperie to create this dessert table for her son’s birthday. Just Call Me Martha created a double chocolate mudcake which was inspired…

Tomorrow is Cinco De Mayo and we love this Mexican Fiesta that was sent to us by Houston based photographer Lucie Eastwood from The Girls. Last year, we featured her son’s vintage nautical first birthday party. This year, she decided to combine her son and daughter’s birthday since they are only one month apart. Lucie and her family love Mexican food so she decided on a Mexican fiesta theme since the party was so…

This morning we are featuring a girly girl party. Amanda at inviteme in Australia created this ballet themed dessert table for her daughter Grace’s birthday. Complete with twirling ribbons, pink ruffles and dancing cupcakes, this was every little ballerina’s dream. As their living room turned into a sea of tulle skirts and ballets slippers, the little ballerinas played music chairs, musical statues, and pass the parcel. An ombre pink ruffled cake was front and…

The Muppet Movie hit the theaters this year and I had such a fun time watching it on the big screen with my kids. I was a big Muppets fan growing up and to seeing them again brought back a lot of memories. My favorite character was always Miss Piggy. This Muppets dessert table from Dina at Deliciously Darling Events is an edible interpretation of the feisty muppet gang. Dina created this dessert and…

This 60th Anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation party came to us from Bird of Bird’s Party. This event is celebrated in the UK. Bird created party printables with the iconic Union Jack print and Queen’s silhouette. Sweet treats on the dessert table included Jubilee cake, chocolate hob-nobs, English trifle, vanilla cupcakes…

Mother’s day is right around the corner and we think this feminine dessert table from Francisca in Portugal is great inspiration. The design was inspired by a Pip Studio tea set. Sweet treats included beautifully decorated cake pops, cupcakes, mini cakes, meringue, and sugar cookies. We love the sweet styling tips that Francisca incorporated like the use of (1) pitchers to display sweets and florals, (2) various heights to display desserts, and (3) a gift wrapped box to display…

We have always been a big fan of Dr. Seuss books and this Lorax dessert table from Marjaneh at Candybar Couture captured the essence of the story. Marjaneh created this party for her son’s birthday. We love incorporating vessels into the design of the party and Marjaneh did that well with the Lorax decorated apothecary jar. She simply filled an apothecary jar with red jelly beans and decorated it with Whimsical Printables. Sweet treats on the dessert…

Catherine from Serendipity Soiree styled this vintage firetruck dessert table for her son and husband who have birthdays just three days apart. Since ice cream is a treat that can span the generation gap, Catherine mixed a vintage truck theme with an ice cream float bar for her “men.” She kept both the party and the dessert table small. You don’t have to create a huge table to make a GIANT statement. We love…
