Sweet Dreams Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
This party was sent to us by Ami and Anita of EyeCandy C’ville. They created this sleepover party for a little girl’s birthday party. Their inspiration came from colorful little fairy wands that Ami found at a local craft store. Once those were purchased, the rest of the party really started to come together!  The headboard came from a local thrift shop. After some sanding, priming, and a few coats of raspberry paint, it became…

Hoop Dreams Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
This basketball themed party was sent to us by Michelle from Catwalks and Baby Bumps, which she created for her son’s birthday. Since Michelle’s husband is a former basketball player and her son loves basketball, she designed a “Hoop Dreams” theme with a bold orange and blue color palette. We LOVE the clever basketball sneaker-tie party hats and the graphic hoop design on the placemats. The kid’s table was dressed up with a basketball court runner,…

Dream Catcher Party

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
We’re loving this dream catcher party and dessert table sent to us by Julie Harvey. Julie created this sweet party and dessert table for her daughter Tahlia’s 11th birthday party. This year was Tahlia’s last year of primary school in Brisbane and Tahlia’s friends are going to different high schools in the fall. Since these young ladies have all of their hopes and dreams ahead of them, Julie wanted to create a special party for…

Dolce 16 Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
This party made us feel as though we stepped out of NYC and walked into a little cafe in Florence. Katie from Petit Social styled this party for a Sweet 16 party. The birthday girl is heading to Italy this summer and her mom wanted to send her off with a dessert table that was reminiscent of an Italian Cafe. Her client’s one request…it all had to be nut/tree-nut free, egg-free, and soy-free. Sweet treats…

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
Once upon a time, a little princess named Tessa got the princess party of her dreams. This sweet party was sent to us by Bridget of Bridgey Widgey. The fairytale dessert spread included “poison” apples, glass slipper sugar cookies, and kissing frog candy. We love the lace overlay on the tablecloth and the beautiful princess hats. Bridget wanted each guest to feel like they stepped into their own fairytale that started “Once Upon A time”…

Pink & Yellow Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
This pink & yellow submission was sent to us by Sarah from Lil Hoot. Sarah created this birthday party for her twin daughters Phoebe and Charlotte, and wanted each of their personalities to be reflected.  The twins had just learned to talk and were frequently saying ‘I like pink!’ and ‘I like yellow,” so it seemed fitting to have a pink & yellow party!  A two-sided invitation was created which invited the guests to Phoebe’s…

Pink Ballerina Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
I think, at some point, every little girl dreams about being a ballerina. This vintage ballet party for a special three-year-old girl was sent to us by Alexandra Vardakis of Avie & Lulu.  The beautiful ballet theme was captured through a ruffled pink and white cake topped off with a sugar rose by Sweetiers.  Other sweet treats included cookies, cupcakes and cake pops by Avie & Lulu, and pink petite fours decorated with white flowers.…

Tinkerbell Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
We are loving everything about this Tinkerbell party that was sent to us by Krista Salmon of Kikis List.  Krista created this party for her daughter’s 3rd birthday.  The Heather Bailey pattern that she used for the backdrop was the inspiration for the color palette for the party. The enchanted Tinkerbell cake is beautiful.  Vibrant garden roses, ranunculus, peonies, viburnum and gerber daisies on tree trunks gave the otherwise kid vibe a sophisticated feel.  Fun…

Rainbow Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
This rainbow birthday guest dessert feature from Suzi of Alannah Rose is absolutely precious.  You may remember Suzi’s daughter Alannah’s 5th birthday party last year when we featured it here.  Everything about this table brings out my inner six year old child.  When I was younger, I begged my parents for any unicorn and cloud satin mobile I could get my hands on.  There is something about rainbows, unicorns, and clouds that are so dreamy,…
