Dinosaur Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

Alison from Alison Lawson cakes styled this party for her son’s 4th birthday. We love the dinosaur foot backdrop made from simple construction paper. It is such an easy and inexpensive way to make a splash on an ordinary white wall. The fantastic cake was inspired by the Ashlee Rae printables that she used. The menu for these prehistoric pee wees was divided into three sections; Carnivore Diet, Herbivore Diet and Dessertivore Diet {LOVE!}. Munchies…

Tara from Sweet Little Birdy in Australia styled this party for her dinosaur-loving son’s 3rd birthday party. Tara wanted to have a party with child-like dinosaurs. Lunch consisted of dino pasta, dino chicken nuggets, and pinwheel sandwiches. Sweet treats on the dessert table included dinosaur shaped sugar cookies, dinosaur shaped sprinkle bread, dino dirt cupcakes, dinosaur bones and dinosaur egg candy. Guests created paper plate dinosaurs and dinosaur money boxes. Our favorite part are the…

This dinosaur party was created by Karolina from Karo’s Fun Land for her dinosaur-lovin’ twin nephews. The color palette was inspired by Dinosaur printables that she found from Anders Ruff. Sweet treats on the dessert table included green dinosaur rice krispies, vanilla cupcakes with dinosaur toppers, dinosaur toe cereal mix, and dino-mite jello. Thirsty guests followed dinosaur footsteps which directed them to a lava juice drink station. Dinosaur Themed Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We fell in love with the adorable dinosaur on top of these cupcakes and had to share. How cute is he? This party came to us from Renee & Alex of The Inspired Occasion.  They created this party for a little boy’s 4th birthday.  The little boy’s mom wanted a party that reflected her son’s love for dinosaurs, but did not want the party to be to cutesy.  To achieve that goal, Renee and Alex…

Dino-mite Dinosaur Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We thought this table was DINO-Mite!  Joanna Warbiany created this table for her son Wyatt’s 4th birthday party. Joanna started by collaborating with Kelly Lyden of WH Hostess to create a custom dinosaur invitation (she also created all of the great signage). Once the palette was established, the rest of the table fell into place. Since the table was going to be outside, Joanna wanted bright colors that would pop. She also created cute names…

Valerie from Top It Off Designs sent us this “Dino-Mite” party that she created for her son’s 3rd birthday party. We love the balance of the design heavy turquoise chevron pattern backdrop against the bright orange and yellow desserts. The palette is fun and colorful and perfect for kids and adults alike. Sweet treats included Triceratops-shaped rice krispie treats, honey cookies and cupcakes. We love the cupcake and cake toppers from Edible Details. Valerie designed…

Sunflower Soiree – Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

After the rainy weekend we had in New York City, we were so happy to see this little ray of sunshine we received from Kelly Lyden of WH Hostess. Yesterday, we featured this dinosaur party that Kelly and Joanna collaborated on for Joanna’s son’s birthday.  This table was created by Kelly for her mother’s 60th birthday.  Celebrating her mother and the last bit of summer that was left, Kelly chose a crisp yellow and black…

Feature Dessert Table from Little Lovely

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions

I’m wrapping up my vacation and am really thankful for lots of quality time with my family and rest! While poring through emails, I found an email from Khali of Little Lovely from Australia. She created a roaring prehistoric dinosaur party for her 2 year old son Hunter. I love the bunting on the cake, the dinosaur feet, dinosaur cupcake toppers, and egg straws. Khali did everything herself and even used simple balloons as the…
