Queen of Hearts Guest Dessert Feature

We’re loving this dessert table sent to us by Monaliz of Bella Sweets. The dessert table was for Monaliz’ very own baby shower and was inspired by the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. It is a refreshing take on what we normally see with Alice in Wonderland parties because she focused on one element in the story and because of the red, pink, black and white color palette. Sweets treats included red velvet cupcakes with Alice toppers, mushroom shaped cake pops {love!}, chocolate covered Oreos, vanilla panna cotta, chocolate cherry macarons, and raspberry chocolate tarts. The theme was highlighted by the use of rustic wood slices, moss bunnies, glitter wrapped vases filled with paper flowers, and an Alice in Wonderland themed backdrop. Scroll down for the vendor credits.

Fun Fact: Playing cards have been around since as early as the 8th century, but the queens and king designs on playing cards are said to be from the Elizabethan era.
