There has been a lot of talk about Helen Fielding’s newest Bridget Jones book How to Throw a Bridget Jones Book Club Soiree, which comes out next week. Most of it is about the shocking news about Mark Darcy. How could she do that to beloved Mark Darcy?! This will take some time to get over. Nonetheless, we’ll still be reading Mad About the Boy and reviewing it at our respective book clubs so we pulled together some fun products for throwing a Bridget Jones book club soiree. The book club soiree will have to be in a living room, where there are plenty of sofas. Bridget wouldn’t have it any other way, right? Pile on the chocolates and vodka because it wouldn’t be a Bridget party without them. Play Chaka Khan and you must get those Chaka Khan and Vodka napkins! We think Bridget would say Well Done!

Fun Fact: The Bridget Jones character was first contemplated when Helen Fielding was asked by The Independent to anonymously write a series about single girls in their 30′s.
