Crafting Party Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

This crafting party that Christine at Pure Joy Events styled for her daughter’s birthday is so much fun! We adore the spool display and the use of decorative paper loosely hanging on the wall. Guests got crafty by painting and glittering beaded necklaces. They also made pom pom garlands out of yarn. Sweet treats included a vanilla cake with raspberry ganache filling, raspberry and chocolate cupcakes and jelly beans. Pink lemonade was served in canning…

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

The chillier temperatures of fall have hit NYC and we’re thinking of pumpkins and parkas. This sweet autumnal party was styled by Jennifer from The Pear Events for her little pumpkin’s birthday party. We love the addition of navy to the traditional orange, taupe and brown fall color palette, as well as the argyle and houndstooth patterns. Guests were greeted with apple baskets filled with tea sandwiches, pumpkin bread and apple juice. A dessert table…

Great Finds: GODIVA Truffle Flights

By: Amy Atlas, in Amy's Latest, Great Finds

I’m sure you all know, but I’m pretty obsessed with truffles. I mean, what is not to love, right? Chocolate coatings filled with oozy, rich and creamy ganache? I’ve used thousands over the years on my dessert tables, piling them high in compotes and on cake stands. I’ve tried truffles from everywhere. I dare you to test me. Don’t because the list is too long. My standard for truffles is very high. So I was…

Party Fit For A Prince Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

This Fit for a Prince baby shower was sent to us by Amanda from Red Wagon Events and Daisy of Leo and Bella. The party was timely, as it happened just around the time that Prince George was born. The ladies used a harlequin design with a black and gold palette for a luxurious and modern vibe. We love the hand-cut rosettes that were placed on the table, which were reminiscent of Elizabethan collars. Sweet…
