For many people, the end of summer is defined by Labor Day. We always know the end of summer is approaching when The US Open begins. The US Open is one of our favorite events and we’re really excited we’re attending this year. Each year the best of the best in Tennis come to Flushing Meadows and compete for tennis dominance. We have seen some pretty incredible matches over the years; Sampras vs. Agassi, Williams vs. Williams but it is some of the matches on the smaller courts that really get our tennis loving hearts beating. Here are some great party decor ideas for a US Open/Tennis themed party.

Who do you think will win the US Open this year?

FUN FACT: The U.S. Open was the first of the four majors to introduce equal prize money for men and women, both in terms of the prize purse and the winning checks for the men’s and women’s champions.

  1. Gotta love the tennis Amy.

Here in Australia, we have to sit up till all hours of the night to get the live feed, but it is worth it. Not sure about ‘partying’ at that time of night though, although we did hear of one bunch of people who set up one of our marquees in their backyard and sat up with an outdoor screen watching the tennis with their neighbours till 3 am.

    Love your blog!

    Thanks,

    Jerry

  2. Hey Sunil, I often wondered how dashes or underscores compared to each other in a domain. I tend to agree that dashes are much more readable. I also wonder how much worse it is to have a dashed versus non-dashed domain in the eyes of google?
