Rainbow Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

In case you missed our colorful post this morning, we are back with a colorful party from Kathryn Whitaker. Kathryn created this party for her daughter’s 6th birthday. When kids arrived they joined rainbow activity stations like (1) making rainbows with Fruit Loops, (2) creating colorful pinwheels, (3) making get your head in the clouds rainbow wands, and (4) playing pin the cloud on the rainbow. A dessert table included vanilla cakepops, rainbow cookies, rainbow fruit skewers, and popcorn. Other fun details included flowers in bell jars with rainbow colored water and rainbow colored play dough. Scroll down for the vendor credits.

  • Uh!!! I LOVE this! It is such an original and fresh take on the rainbow theme! I was loving those rainbow cakes, but getting tired of them at the same time – these clouds and cookies are wondrous, beautiful & innovative! Lovely post 🙂

  • Such beautiful photographs! Wow – this is one amazing rainbow party… so pretty and inspiring! Love the rainbow flowers – such a great way to explore some scientific processes in plants and nature, and it also creates a gorgeous decoration for your table! http://www.sophie-world.com/activities/rainbow-carnations
