Great Finds: Sweet and Stout

By: Amy Atlas, in Amy's Latest, Great Finds

We hope you all had a great weekend. We have had some HOT days over the past couple of weeks. We love the idea of a frosty cold beer on a hot summer day. For St. Patty’s Day, we shared this Root & {Guinness} Beer Float recipe with you. It was only a matter of time before beer made its way into the sweets world with craft beers being all of the rage these days. As we walked the Fancy Food Show a couple of weeks ago we found some great products that marry the earthy flavors of beer with the sweets like chocolate and toffee. What are some of your favorite Beer inspired recipes? PS – Stay tuned…we’re headed to Liddabit this week and we’re making their beer & pretzel caramels with them!

FUN FACT: The first professional brewers were all WOMEN and they were called Brewsters.

I thought the first women brewers were called Ale Wives. No matter, I’ll take girl power for good beer!

    Big Vosges fan.

    Yummy stuff here.
