Happy National Sugar Cookie Day!  We have had some really creative sugar cookie inspiration like this one and this one. This party that was styled by Jacki from Blissfully Sweet in Australia is providing the inspiration today. Jacki styled this party for a client’s son. For the backdrop, Jacki chose white washed paneled wood that she created herself. Sweet treats on the dessert table included fruit sugar cookies, cupcakes topped with fondant caterpillar and food toppers, triple chocolate brownies, cake pops styled to look like a caterpillar, swirly lollipop cookie sticks and jello. The hand painted cake was the star of the table with grass around the base of both tiers. Fresh fruit staggered in clear vases mimicked a caterpillar shape. A selection of all the food gobbled up by the Very Hungry Caterpillar sat on top of the cake. Great job!
