Boys Will Be Boys Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids
You know the old nursery rhyme “What Are Little Boys Made Of”?  We are feeling like this table personifies that question. Sling shots, pirates, baseball, boy scouts, and little red wagons are all little things that put big smiles on lots of little boys. This party was styled by Jennifer from Honeycomb Events for her son’s birthday party using printables from her shop. The printables are great for a summer picnic. Sweet treats on the…

Kristen from Kristen’s Sweet Treats in the Netherlands sent us this sweet party she styled for a friend’s baby shower. The gender of the baby was unknown to the guests so Kristen kept the palette gender neutral. We love how Kristen displayed the popcorn to look like  cloth diapers with pins. So clever!  Other treats on the dessert table included sugar cookies, donuts, chocolate chip cookies, meringues and cupcakes. Scroll down for the vendor credits.…

This party was styled by Paula from Frog Prince Paperie for her son’s fourth birthday party. We love how Paula used her red wall as the backdrop and added flames and her amazing signage to make a bold statement. The checkboard floor was actually plastic sheeting which gave the room a motorcycle shop vibe. Harlequin Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions
How fun is the harlequin pattern and color palette in this dessert table shoot styled by Vesna from One Lovely Day for her magazine My Little Jedi? It’s an unexpected color palette and mixture of props, yet it works together. We love how the fluid lines on the swirly buttercream and the tissue paper flowers offsets the sharp lines of the harlequin pattern. Sweet treats included a buttercream cake, cupcakes, macarons, lamingtons, chocolate tart and…
