Little Rock Star Guest Dessert Feature

By: Amy Atlas, in Featured Submissions, Kids

We have SXSW in Austin on our minds..more about that later.  We love this 80’s rockstar party styled by Helen from Kiss My Cakes in Australia for her son’s birthday party. His only request was for microphone cake pops and we are so happy he made that request. How great are those?  Such a fun idea. The birthday cake was an amazing set of drums. Other “intermission munchies” on the dessert table included vanilla cupcakes, coconut slices, cookies, jello and macarons. Music sheets were turned into paper cones for treats and wrapped around containers. Each child was offered a “Rock Star Wardrobe” with a candy necklace, neon star glasses, colored hairspray and black and neon green nail polish. For the slightly younger kids, there was a tambourine making craft station. This party ROCKED! Scroll down for the vendor credits.
