This party was definitely a nod to nostalgia for me. I LOVED the Little Rascals. I remember sitting in my living room and laughing at Stymie, Alfalfa, Spanky and Buckwheat and all of the the trouble they got themselves into. And then there was Darla. How great was Darla? This party was styled by one of our readers, Michelle, for her 4 year old son! Michelle was inspired by the original “Our Gang” of the 1920s. She used images of her son as Alfalfa and turned her home into a clubhouse. A mail cart was converted into a lemonade/sundae stand. Sweet treats included a clubhouse cake created by her 14 year old daughter, cracker jacks and chocolates. Whoopie cushions, wood sling shots and flying frogs gave a nod to Our Gang antics. Party favors included Alfalfa bowties, Darla hairbows and parasols, Spanky hats and gumball machines. Absolutely fantastic!
