We have seen a lot of darkness in NYC over the last few days and we feel like we can all use a rainbow right about now. This rainbow party was styled by Jen Rayner for her daughter’s birthday. The rainbow cake was made of 6 layers of colored butter cake with cream between each layer and topped off with cotton candy clouds. Other sweet treats on the dessert table included raindrop cake pops, rainbow strap cupcakes with buttercream clouds, and rainbow jelly. Rainbow themed games kept the kids entertained. This table shows even a small table can provide a big punch. Great job.

Love this. It’s beautiful!
Love, love, love!! I can’t get over how cute this whole party is. Rainbow themes are the best!
I love the rainbow – this is beautiful and vibrant!!!
Quite adorable! Can even be used for a baby shower.
Question – is the jelly the same as Jello or is it like jam jelly? I’m thinking it might be called different things in different areas
how lovely! briughtened up my day!
Hi Amy
What a beautiful blog!!!
You gave me an inspiration for my daughter birthday party.
Just a question regarding the rainbow cupcake – do you have a recipe for the blue and white frosting??
What a beautiful blog!!!
Want to make the rainbow cupcakes for my daughter birthday party.
Is it possible to frost and refrigerate the cupcake 3-4 hours before serving, without it break down/damaged?
