Dinosaur Dessert Table Party Ideas for Kids

This party from Catherine at Sweet Empire was styled for a little boy’s birthday.  The theme of the party was “Roar Harry Is Four” and in attendance was 25 little adventurers. Catherine styled 2 buffet tables for this event, one for the little guests and a cheese, wine & dessert table for the Big Dinosaurs. Sweet treats included panna cotta in apothecary jars, tiramisu, goat cheese & coconut cheesecakes, and chocolate mascarpone mousse. We love the tree log birthday cake! Other sweet treats included chocolate organic popcorn served with bamboo cones as a “Dino Dig”, coconut cupcakes, chocolate peanut butter cupcakes, pistachio & white chocolate cupcakes, and dinosaur sugar cookies. Guests were given dinosaur “bone” cookies presented as a puzzle to put together and eat. Great job. Scroll down for the vendor credits.

Very impressive, Catherine of Sweet Empire certainly is talented. Make a party with balloons and clown seem archaic. Well done Sweet Empire on your creation.

  • I LOVE IT! Congratulation!

This is awesome! Would love to know how to make the popcorn…can’t seem to figure out what it is mixed with…any suggestions?:)

      Hi Michelle,
The popcorn is “Cobbs” organic cocoa popcorn. It’s available her in Australia but not sure if it’s where you are located. You could just coat popcorn with cocoa powder for the same effect and taste. I originally wanted to make a dark caramel popcorn, but had just a little too much baking and deocrsating to achieve all at once! Thanks for your interest in my party.
