Burlesque Guest Dessert Feature

We’re channeling Dita Von Teese in the Amy Atlas office today with this burlesque guest dessert feature. It’s a little different than what we normally post, but the clever ideas were too good not to post. This party was styled by Justine at Sensationally Sweets for a ‘Prohibition party.”  Velvet fabric, black lace, and gold sequins and glitter were used to bring in glamour. We love the carousel of burlesque dancer cupcakes inspired by the Kinky Cupcakes book. Cake pop sticks were wrapped in black lace Washi tape and red ribbon garters. Other sweet treats on the dessert table included lip shaped Oreos, chocolate and caramel popcorn, chocolate dipped gold strawberries, gold gum balls, wrapped mini chocolate bars, and red and black rock candy sticks. Vodka and champagne were also served. Scroll down for the vendor credits.

  1. LOVE THIS!!! Awesome, well done!

  2. Ew. This was weird. I love your blog but please keep it to “sweet” designs. This was just in bad taste (no pun intended).

I know if you go to the Sensationally Sweet Events page you will probably find a lolly table that doesn’t offend your delicate sensibilities,I know Justine did a beautiful baby shower ;)
